What you pay when people redeem
Employees redeem at face value in points. Your company pays that face value, plus a funding fee. Fees follow this schedule; rewards that cost more to deliver (e.g., cash-out, card-funded) carry a higher fee shown before you confirm.
Pay as you go by card

Today's default. The card is charged in $25 top-ups as people redeem.
$25 gift card → $26.25. $100 → $105.00.
Prepaid by card

A deposit is money held, not face value you can spend. Each redemption deducts its full cost.
$100 gift card → $105.00 when delivery costs more than 5%.
Prepaid by bank transfer
No funding fee
The schedule funding fee is 0%. Bank processing and delivery costs can still raise what you pay.

How the math works
- Company pays: face value, plus the schedule funding fee (5% pay-as-you-go card, 5% prepaid card, 0% bank transfer) or the cost to deliver that reward, whichever is higher.
- When the fee is higher: cash-out rewards (PayPal, Venmo), a reward balance we fund by card, and small card charges that have to cover a fixed processing cost. The amount is on the confirm step.
- Employees: always redeem at face value in points. Fees are billed to your company, not taken out of the reward.
- Prepaid: not offered for new deposits yet. Organizations fund rewards pay as you go by card.
